Nutrition Kitchen Sessions and More

About High Bar Nutrition Kitchen Sessions

High Bar Nutrition Kitchen Sessions are live 90-minute workshops led by Dr. Kat Sweatt, PhD in Nutrition Science, designed to make healthy eating practical, realistic, and sustainable for busy individuals and families. Each session combines evidence-based nutrition education with live cooking demonstrations, meal tastings, and simple batch cooking strategies to help you feel more confident planning, shopping for, and preparing healthy meals at home.

During each session, you’ll valuable info like how to build balanced meals that support weight loss, body composition goals, metabolic health, blood sugar management, energy, and athletic performance using real, approachable foods. Sessions include practical guidance for diabetic-friendly cooking and improving metabolic health through meal composition, food choices, portioning, and meal timing. Topics may include protein and macronutrient needs, grocery shopping strategies, reading nutrition labels, blood sugar and hunger control, batch cooking shortcuts, and how to simplify healthy eating without spending hours in the kitchen.

Your registration includes a light meal, appetizer-style snacks, tasting portions of featured recipes, and practical take-home recipes and nutrition tools you can immediately apply in your own home. Optional family-style High Bar Nutrition meals are also available for preorder and pickup at the event, making it easy to leave with healthy meals already prepared for the week ahead.
